The First Choice of Prize Winning Gardeners & Lovers of Real Food
My AccountA natural aid to pollination to attract bees, butterflies and other beneficial insects Both honey bees and bumblebees gather pollen and nectar from the flowers they visit. Unfortunately, under modern, intensive farming bees have lost both foraging and nesting areas.
Pollen and nectar plant species, once a central part of rotations, are no longer common. Bee populations have been devastated in the past few years, both by cold wet springs and disease.
To substantially improve pollination, Marshalls have created this special mix. Containing Borage, Phacelia and Essex Broad Red Clover, a row of Bumblebee Margin Mix planted in the vegetable garden can significantly improve pollination and crop yields.

Absolutely brillant, I had a brillant hedge of borage flowers as well as other lovely flowers, the bees were very happy all summer long and I won most abundant borage at my allotment end of year prizes!
i sowed some late on to see how it looks and the flowers were nice and large. gave the little bumblers some late food too
Bumble Bee mix definately works! I planted a whole empty bed with these seeds. they are fairly quick growing and resulted in masses of flowers. When the flowers were in bloom, you could hear the constant drone of what must have been a hundred Bees and Hover Flies. These seeds are definitely on my list for next year!
