I have taken delivery of another raised bed this morning, Im really pleased with the quality and also the price, last year I grew onoins in one and it was the best onion crop Ive had, for the price you just cant beat it. Its also moveable and rot proof. Having a raised bed also helps combat poor soil, which is a problem in my garden. Thanks again!!

Raised beds have revolutionised my gardening. I'm totally sold on them. My tip - when setting them up - Bottom layer ...composted bark to retain moisture. Second layer ... rotted manure to provide nourishment and encourage worms - Third layer ... a sprinkling of Blood, Fish & Bone for long term benefits - Top layer ... Top Soil bought in bulk at garden Centres. Garden soil is a very poor alternative - being full of bugs and weed seeds. This does cost a little more, but in the long run (2 years now) it pays for itself not only in productivity, but also abundant pleasure!
