The sprouts remain in good condition for many weeks from November to January, turning an even deeper red during really cold weather. Its intense colour makes it pretty enough to grow in the winter border!
Our Brussels Sprout varieties have each been selected for their superb flavour. They're also an excellent source of vitamin C and are packed full of vitamin D, folic acid and are high in antioxidants.
To grow tightly packed sprouts, firm fertile soil is essential. Dig in plenty of well-rotted manure or compost as early as possible to give the soil the maximum time to settle.
Mild flavour, retains red colour when steamed or stir-fried.
