My AccountThe 'King of Mint' from a specialist grower just outside Norwich.
In taste trials it was voted first for all-time flavour and is the preferred variety used by mint sauce makers, thanks to its concentrated taste.
A wonderful aroma too! Supplied as strong bare root plants.

I use mint a lot in salads and cooking and so am always on the look out for a good variety of mint. I decided to buy Brundall mint plants in the Marshall''s catalogue last year and have never looked back. The mint grows well in containers and produces prolific leaves with a particularly pleasant strong mint flavour, good colour and when chopped in salads they do not go black rapidly but stay green and fresh. I am no longer looking for the perfect mint variety as I have found it!
August is primarily about harvesting your crops, but there are still some vegetables that can be sown and planted out!
