Jade broad beans grew extremely well even in the adverse wet and windy weather in scotland. they cropped well and were very tasty. Have frozen loads for the winter, We are still finishing last years crop from the freezer and these are still tasting good. Will certainly grow again next year.

Broad beans Jade, First time i have tried them and they were outstanding. Smaller that the usual broad bean but the flavour surpassed all others i have ever grown. The crop was plentyful and all my relatives and friends commented on the wonderful taste and that was even before they cooked them. Definately a "Winner" and roll on next year when i shall grow even MORE !!!Unresistable and i will never buy any other.

These broad beans are tough and crop really well. The first (2009) year I had 100% germination. The plants stood up to lashing rain, blackfly and pigeons; they gave an excellent crop, very tasty, and I ended up with loads to freeze too. This year I found a few left over seeds and stuck them in the back of a border, and all these have come up and are smothered in flowers!
