Our Brassica Plant Collection contains 16 plants each of:

Broccoli Marathon - This variety of ‘calabrese' really has set the standard for performance, yield and quality. It produces medium sized, uniform, dense heads of bluishgreen ‘beads' on sturdy plants that will grow well in almost any soil and under any conditions

Cabbage Stonehead - Medium sized, firm, short-cored, round heads which means there is very little wasted when preparing for cooking. Holds for a long time without splitting. Each well-flavoured head weighs in at about 4lb on average.

Brussels Sprout Brilliant - Early cropping variety producing tight, dark green buttons, which hold well on the plants. Good resistance to both bolting and powdery mildew, he scourge of many of the older varieties of sprout.

These were excellent and gave me excellent greens. The broccoli kept giving me small spears late in the year.

so far has been truly excellent have been planted for 6 wks now with hardly any nutrients added to ground my neighbours are much weaker plants and he chucks loads more muck on his than i do i look forward to eating yum yum
