I have always had an interest in growing plants.  I started my career in horticulture at the age of 12 at the local garden centre, to earn money to pay for the running of my engine Go -Kart!

Having moved around the horticulture industry gaining various qualifications, knowledge and most importantly experience I came to Marshalls 3 years ago as Operations Manager. This involves selecting and buying the products that feature in our catalogue and website along with managing a dedicated team, who carefully pack your orders. I visit our nurseries regularly to ensure the products are ready for despatch  to your homes and of course grow on some of these seeds and many trial varieties and plants in my own vegetable garden which can be seen on page 15 of the 2011 catalogue out now.
