Rainy April = Time to Combat Slugs!Who would've thought there was a drought at the moment? Some of the showers we've had here in the south have been so torrential that it's been impossible to do any gardening without getting drenched!

Christmas Cropping Potatoes as Late as February!I had always doubted those who claim that second cropping potatoes planted in August can provide crops of Christmas New Potatoes. That seemed especially true when I first arrived at Marshalls in 2006.
