- Offer Some Protection
With the dark nights comes the drop in temperatures and there is a real risk of frost damage to your beloved tender plants. If you want to keep them over winter then you’ll have to offer them some protection.
- Organic Extra
We’ve been selling Organic Extra for a while now. It’s our exclusive super-concentrated fertiliser and loads of you have emailed and written to us saying that it’s worked really well in your garden. However there have been a few questions from people who haven’t used it before, asking us why it’s different from other fertilisers and why it’s better.
- Winter Salad Indoors
Although the end of the season is almost over outside, you can still grow crops in the greenhouse.
- How to Make Leaf Mould
The strong winds that we faced yesterday stripped a lot of leaves of the trees and blew them into the garden. Of course, as it’s autumn, there’s a lot of fallen leaves anyway but today there’s at least twice as many. This means a bit of extra work clearing them up but it also means that we can make lots of lovely leaf mould!
- Autumn Bedding Plants
Autumn is so much more than the changes in foliage colour. It’s the height of the bedding season and autumn bedding plants provide a vast range of colours for you to fill your beds, borders and containers. There are so many to choose from and to help you our here are twelve that we think are top notch!
