Tomatoes in Gro-SacksPlanting my Tomatoes

I finally got round to planting up the Gro-Sacks with my tomato plants now I've made some space in the greenhouse. I'm using some new supports that I'm trialling, I'm quite impressed so far as they seemed to give the Gro-Sacks good support and squared them up nicely rather than bulging a bit at the sides, it'll be interesting to see how well they support the plants as they grow, they are certainly very sturdy. As you can see I had a bit of company while I was working too!

I was going to plant up four varieties but ran out of compost so had to settle on three for the moment! I've planted Shirley, Chocolate Cherry and Sungold which should give me a great mix of colour and flavour in my summer salads. I'll do at least one more I think once I get some more compost or maybe I'll use the space for a cucumber plant instead - decisions, decisions!
