John Negus – Spreading the News About Marshalls

09 January 2012 | Posted in Gardening by The Marshalls Family

I just wanted to say a public ‘Thank You’ to my friend John Negus, the Farnham based photo-journalist, trained at Wisley Gardens and Merrist Wood Horticultural College. He has developed specialisms in Trees, Shrubs and Climbers, and is expert in speaking on these topics, and is a greater speaker on the subject of Vegetables too.  Week after week, John gives talks to clubs, and generously praises Marshalls.

His expertise has earned him a place on the Royal Horticultural Society list of Speakers. He regularly speaks at Gardening Clubs, Grayshott Hall and Farnham conferences and seminars.

You can contact John to talk to your Garden Society on (01252) 721608.

John just sent me a note to tell me about his last week’s talk, in which he wrote

More happy prize winners. This time, at Sunningdale, Berkshire on 2 February.

After talking to the Sunningdale Horticultural Society on achieving better vegetables, and chatting about Marshalls Kitchen Garden catalogue, that treasury of vegetables and fruits that embraces all we’ll ever wish to grow, I presented a fun quiz in which two members left with Joy Larkcom’s excellent book on vegetables, a splendid tome published in association with Marshalls”.

John, may I say a big ‘Thank You’ from all of us at Marshalls.
