I grow these in vegetable deep beds not pots but like this variety because it seems to cope well without being thinned if I don't get round to it, remaining a good round shape. They germinate easily and the flavour is one of the best.

Nice large seeds giving easy to grow and dinky but tasty 'fruits'. Buy and use again and again each year. Good for children to try growing too.

Beetroot - Baby Beet Action Seeds 1020-2049

Fast growing baby beets!

Sow Outdoors: March-August, thinly, direct into the required harvest position, 1in (2½cm) deep in rows 12in (30cm) apart. Keep soil moist at all times.

Grow On: Thin out plants 1-2 in (2-5cm)

Harvest: June-November as soon roots are 1in (2½cm) in diameter.

Use thinnings as baby leaf. Use fleece to protect crop from frost or cold wind.
