Apple Tree: Cobra

A wonderful cross between two of the finest parents - Cox's Orange Pippin and Bramley Seedling - from which its name is derived.

This is a perfect dual-purpose apple with a fine dessert flavour developing by mid-winter, with the added advantage of being able to cook it early.

Has a refreshing tangy quality for a multiple of culinary uses from firm baked apples to great pie fillings requiring very little added sugar.

For the best fruit set, requires another mid-season pollinating variety nearby.

Rootstock: M9 - Dwarf Rootstock, reaching an approximate height of 8 - 10 feet (2.4 - 3.0 metres). It will grow in a wide range of soils and consistently gives the heaviest crops and best fruit size.
