Apple - Red Falstaff Tree
Because it is frost resistant and self fertile, this proves to be one of the heaviest yielding varieties apple that there is.
Produces profuse amounts of blossom and is an excellent pollinator for other varieties.
Pick in the second week in October for a wonderful mellow flavour. Stores well, often until early March.
Highly recommended if you only want one late season apple.
Rootstock: M9 - Dwarf Rootstock, reaching an approximate height of 8 - 10 feet (2.4 - 3.0 metres). It will grow in a wide range of soils and consistently gives the heaviest crops and best fruit size.
