Growing Calendar for Apple Christmas Pippin - Apple Tree
Delivery: Early November to Late April
Everyone's favourite English apple just got better with the Christmas Pippin! This Delicious Cox type apple has a very high, natural sugar content.
It has the same creamy flesh and aromatic flavour as a traditional Cox's Orange Pippin but matures later.
Cropping from mid-October it reaches perfection in November/December. We found it to be perfect accompaniment to a glass of port and a spoonful of Stilton on Christmas Day!
Flowering Group: FG3
Tree arrived damaged was replaced, this next one also arrived with a little damage. Too loose in the box.
Looks OK. Will be in a better position to say just how well this tree grew next year.
