To help you increase greenhouse productivity Marshalls has developed a new type of Gro-Bed. The great big, collapsible Four Season Gro-Bed just needs 4 canes to slide in the special sleeves at the top for rigidity. Then fill with good loamy soil or compost and you're ready to grow.

To help start you off we've included 5 varieties of fast growing, cut-n-come again seeds. Plant them now and you could be eating home-grown salads in as little as 4 weeks when the weather warms!

Each kit includes 2 Greenhouse Gro-beds as well as 5 packets of seed:

  • Rocket Voyager

  • Lettuce Bijou

The bag has 4 strong carry handles, so it can be moved in and out of the greenhouse. It's designed to be just perfect in terms of size. At 80cm (34in) long and 54cm (21in) wide, 6 will fit neatly into a 8ft x6ft greenhouse.

Start autumn crops outdoors and when your summer growing bag crops are finished, move your Four Seasons Gr-Beds inside. You can also repeat sow and harvest super quality salads all summer long.

This is a product that a couple of weeks ago I brought.The delivery time was just about 1 week or less. This product is AMAZING. The number of uses for the bags alone numbers around a hundred or so. This includes the growing of strawberries, chilli peppers, tomatoes and many more including of cause salads. The seeds that come with it create an almost year long harvest and planting period but at the same time is low maintenance. The more you harvest the better salad you will get. I love this product. The number of locations you can plant in is greenhouse ,lean-to , outside. These can be used in any location. In any sized garden or allotment. In any weather. Buy them and you won't regret it.

I purchased these a year ago. They were used all last summer in the light weight green house to grow peppers, chilli, basil, cucumber and tomotoes. Despite a dreadfull 2012 growing year the grow bags were superb, the other greenhouse failed dismally as all the plants were direct in the ground and continually soaked. Without these grow bags the salad table would have been bare!

I agree with Michael! I bought 3x Greenhouse Gro-beds for my strawberries. The beds gave ample space for planting and raised the plants off the ground. They seem to be the cheapest on the market, although I haven't done a huge price comparison. They are an ideal aid on the allotment and I was able to net them quite simply by putting a cane in each corner. I have saved one bag for the strawberry runners! If I'm feeling creative I may build some willow hurdles for around the outside, as I do realise they are advertised as 'greenhouse' and I'm not sure how weather resistant they are. But a brilliant product.
